Whatever the weather is doing

Pick the season. The symptoms below are the calls we get most; if yours is on the list, we know what to bring.

When the AC gives up in the heat

Warm air from the vents, a unit that runs and never shuts off, ice on the refrigerant line, water where it should not be — call before a small fault becomes a compressor. We diagnose the system, tell you what it needs, and get the house cool again.

  • Warm or weak airflow from the vents
  • Unit runs constantly or short-cycles
  • Ice on the lines or water at the air handler
  • Breaker trips every time it starts

When the furnace quits on the coldest night

A furnace that will not light, a heat pump stuck in defrost, a pilot that keeps going out, a smell that is not right — heating faults are safety questions as much as comfort ones. We check the heat exchanger, the ignition and the venting before anything else.

  • No heat, or heat that cycles on and off
  • Ignition clicks but never lights
  • Burning smell or a yellow burner flame
  • Thermostat calls for heat and nothing happens

What happens when you call

  1. 01

    You call or book

Tell us what the system is doing, the brand if you know it, and when you need us. We confirm a window, not a “sometime today”.

  2. 02

    A technician arrives

In uniform, in a marked truck, with the common parts on board. We look at the whole system, not just the symptom.

  3. 03

    Findings and price, first

What failed, why, what it takes to fix it and what it costs — before any work starts. Repair or replace is your decision.

  4. 04

    Fixed, tested, cleaned up

We run the system through a full cycle, check temperatures and pressures, and leave the work area the way we found it.

Maintenance plans

A tune-up before each season

Most breakdowns start as small things: a dirty coil, a weak capacitor, a cracked belt, a clogged drain. A plan puts a technician in front of your system before the cooling season and before the heating season, so those things get caught in spring and autumn instead of on the worst day of the year.

What a visit covers

  • Coils, filters and drain lines cleaned
  • Refrigerant charge and electrical connections checked
  • Burners, ignition and heat exchanger inspected
  • Thermostat, airflow and safety controls verified
Pricing

Plan pricing depends on your equipment and your home. Ask us what yours would include and what it costs.

Financing

Replacing a system is a big purchase. If spreading the cost would help, ask us about financing when you call — we will tell you what is available.

Questions

Before you call

Diagnostic and trip charges vary by job and by time of day. Ask when you call; we tell you before the truck is dispatched, never after.

Turn the system off if it is icing up or making a bad noise, clear a path to the indoor and outdoor units, and note what it was doing when it failed. Photos of the nameplate help.

We service the major residential brands and carry the common parts for them. If you have something unusual, tell us the make when you call and we will say if we can help.

We can give you the diagnostic charge and a range for common repairs. A firm price needs a technician in front of the system; you get it before any work starts.

Ask us. Plan details depend on your equipment and financing options on the project; we will lay out what is available when you call.
